How to translate WebFileMan in another language

Usually it is possible to create a new language file for WebFileMan in a matter of 15 minutes or so.

You can do this simply:

  1. Copy the english file languages/eng.php to the file name of your choice, for example fra.php
  2. Update the text strings in the new file keeping the stuff inside the <param></param> tags
  3. Then this new language option will appear in the language select list under Preferences link
